Day 11 - Geocaching HQ!

A leisurely start this morning as we are visiting Geocaching HQ - it still feels like a dream that I'm actually here in Seattle.  Mark came here in 2015 for the last Block Party but didn't do the HQ Tour as he hoped that one day we'd go together, I didn't think it was something we'd ever get around to doing but here we are.

We booked our visit for 9am and were greeted by Sven who was really friendly and welcoming.  Then we spent a good hour and a half chatting and looking around.  We had a great time.

After buying some exclusive to HQ merch we explored the neighbourhood a little bit before making our way back to the airport for an afternoon flight back to LAX.

Arrived at LAX and picked up the jeep and continued on our way towards Palm Springs that was slightly further than we'd estimated.  Some time later we arrived at our hotel in the dark and could just about make out the enormous mountain range behind our hotel that we'd be hiking tomorrow.
